About Us

At Smart Learning we aim to provide effective early childhood education, as we believe this establishes a learning culture. Children will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities which explore the same concepts in a variety of meaningful and engaging ways.

Our expanded knowledge of human growth and development in the earliest years has taught us that children are learning from the moment they are born. Brain growth, approaches to life and learning language skills; all these are shaped by what does or does not happen in a child’s early years. Simply put, a child’s early years lay the foundation for all that is to come.

In recent years, researchers have learnt that the human brain develops the vast majority of its neurons, and is at its most receptive to learning, between birth and four years of age. Therefore early learning plays a critical role during this important developmental period, as early years of childhood form the basis of intelligence, personality, social behaviour, and capacity to learn. However, it is equally a precious time and we appreciate and value the importance of childhood. We believe children should be able to enjoy their time at Pre-school and their days should be fun-filled and happy, this is why our aim is to deliver a learning experience not only rich in its educational value but also enjoyable and fun, whilst building the social and emotional foundations that support lifelong learning.

Today, children are expected to enter school being able to count, recite the alphabet, and write their names. Equally important, on that first day of school, teachers also expect children to be able to listen, follow directions, be interested in toys and tasks, start and finish small projects, express their needs, be able to wait, and know when they need help.

Your child will have the opportunity to develop skills through bespoke teaching, smart learning and fun-filled play. At Smart Learning our routines, activities and nursery environments are designed to enhance all areas of learning, offering children opportunities to play and practise their growing skills, ensuring every child has an opportunity to learn and develop at a pace that is suitable to them.
